Question by Jim: What is the cheapest netbook available to me?
Also, if i get a refurbished netbook, would it come with the features new ones come with, i.e. microsoft word? If i get it online, i only have accounts on Ebay and Amazon, so don’t suggest other sites. Thanks!

Of course refurbished does not intend that they cut down the features it’s only that they have been used by someone.

  • Q&A: What is the differences between a netbook and a laptop?

Posted on January 12th, 2012 No comments

Question by Michael P: What is the differences between a netbook and a laptop?
I’m thinking about saving up for a laptop or a netbook but I don’t know which is better. I would be planning on playing games like runescape, minecraft, and World of Warcraft on there, without making the computer completely tardily. Also if you could tell me which is the best laptop and which is the best netbook on the market.

    Best answer:

    Answer by sapslaj
If you are planning on gaming, then a laptop is definitely the way to go. Netbooks are like mini versions of laptops. They are primarily for lightweight web surfing. They aren’t meant for games, or HD video streaming.

In particular, FuseDiligence, which provides professionals/consultants and managers the ability to provide assessment and improvement plans with scorecard and budgeting, shines on the device, particularly when running “Quick Score”, a view that allows quick assessment of a large number of issues either through inspection or interview. “While there was a level of convenience in hauling around a laptop or a netbook, it’s just not as agile or natural as a tablet,” said Greg Waite, President of FuseTalk Inc.

It becomes practical to perform FuseDiligence assignments on either mobile WiFi, 3G or 4G. All professions require some degree of mobility but collaboration around best practices plug-ins such as assessment, score cards, budgets, action plans, etc. requires sufficient real estate on a device, meaning smart phones just won’t cut it. “Whether you are a manager or a consultant, you need to be productive – and you can be, on tablet devices,” added Waite.

With FuseDiligence, users can associate categories of topics and scorecards with objects, such as people, processes, equipment, building – whatever it is that shoudl be assessed, evaluated, inspected, discussed and decided upon. “Even though FuseDiligence provides data partnering and can be preloaded with a lot of objects, you tend to find out about the missing ones when you’re out in the field! Mobility allows our users to react immediately and include something in the assessment that they just learned about. It’s really a productive extension to the way people work,” said Lesley Huppert of FuseTalk.
